Degtyarnye Bani is a St. Petersburg classic for connoisseurs of Russian steam and comfort.

St. Petersburg steam rooms are quiet islands of heat and steam amid the cool northern restraint. Here, wooden benches creak, birch whisks and warm resin scent the air, and the dense steam wraps around you like a wool blanket on a November evening. Outside, the sky may be grey and rainy, but inside time slows down: conversations become quieter, breathing grows deeper, and the city seems to dissolve into a warm cloud.

Is procedure time included in the visit time?

Services provided do not reduce the total visit time. Exceptions are massage and cosmetology services in the Women’s Class.

What should I bring with me?

Rubber-soled slippers are required. Textile items made from natural fabrics can be brought with you or rented on site.

Can I visit the baths with my family?

The complex has a Russian Class that can be rented for private groups, including mixed groups. On selected days the class is open for family visits; tickets should be purchased in advance.

How do I book steaming rituals and other procedures?

Advance booking is required for all services. You can review the list of services on our website. Booking is arranged by phone.

Do I need to book in advance if I do not need extra procedures?

For the Women’s and Men’s common classes, visits without extra services are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. For the Russian Class, tickets must be purchased in advance on our website.

Do you have gift certificates?
